Sunway Velocity Mall aims to support & create more awareness on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of our commitment to supporting the autism community and their families, we strive to create a shopping experience that is welcoming and accommodating to everyone. By doing so, we hope to raise awareness and promote greater acceptance of autism spectrum disorder among the wider public.
AUTSOME FACILITIES & PRIVILEGES
The mall has specially designed the Calm Pods & Sensory Wall that provide a tranquil and serene space for individuals with ASD and their families during their visit. The Calm Pods offer privacy and a quiet atmosphere, allowing families to have a stress-free shopping experience while the Sensory Wall serves as a sensory stimulation area for individual with ASD.
Upon registration, AUTSOME members will receive an Autsome Kit, which includes an Autsome parking sticker and a wristband from our Concierge Counter, First Floor.
Registered AUTSOME members can utilize these facilities daily;
- Calm Pods located at B2, next to AEON Travelator & Ground Floor, next to Häagen-Dazs
- Sensory Wall located at Ground Floor, near Clarins
To enjoy these perks and privileges, registered members will need to flash the AUTSOME wristband for verification purposes.
Registered AUTSOME members can utilize these privileges (only applicable on every Tuesday);

- Priority Lane/ Deals at participating outlets
- Autsome Reserved Parking at B2 (Car Sticker provided together with Autsome Kit)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is actually a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects an individual’s conditions such as delayed language development, social interaction, repetitive behavior, and stereotyped actions like rocking back and forth.
If you’re thinking it’s a disease or illness that would spread. The answer is no! It’s all about how the brain works differently from other people and it’s something you’re born with. Once detected the individual could go through therapy that would help with the conditions mentioned earlier.
